Dreamblanket for Gijs

 

I've made a quilt for a very special 3year old boy. His mother passed away when he was just 3 months old. She collected everything from the Dutch illustrator Fiep Westendorp. In May I read a blog with the request if anyone could make a quilt with the 'Jip en Janneke' fabric. I said I could and here is the result:

 

 

 

 

 

one 1 single bed quilt,

 

 

 

 

   2 small pillows

 

 

 

                                                             
                                                                         and a wallhanging.


                                                     It's all machine pieced but hand quilted.
